It's quite an accomplishment to get two countries to hate you, but Borat has done it. A village in Romania is mad at Sacha Baron Cohen because the village was portrayed badly in the Borat movie. It was used in the film as Borat's hometown. The article also says the people were paid $5 to $7 for a day's work as extras.

According to IMDB, Joe Barbarisi plays a zombie jogger in the 2006 film Risen. The only other Barbarisi on IMDB is Guido Barbarisi, which totally sounds like a made up name.

The White House won't let Borat in. You know, Borat faintly reminds me of someone, but I can't quite place my finger on it...

I guess President Bush won't get his personal invitation to Borat's movie. Also, Kazakhstan is a real country. Who knew? They're a big oil producing country. That's really all we need to know. Other than that, they hate Borat. I have no idea why.

On Saturday, I went to see Dave Chappelle's Block Party. It's a documentary, so don't expect it to be like Chappelle's Show or like a full concert. It's mostly behind the scenes stuff and comedy. You probably won't like it if you're just a casual Chappelle fan or if you're not into the music. Otherwise, go watch it. That should be considered a high recommendation since I hardly ever like or watch movies.

The movie is about a concert that Dave put together in 2004 that consists of his favorite musicians. He goes around inviting people and talking about the location of the concert and some other things. Some of the bands and artists talk about the concert too. In between most of that, there's music and a lot of comedy. That's pretty much a summary of the whole movie without spoiling anything.

Alex brought over ODU Fasa's DVD, which had a bunch of funny short films. It had a link to channel 757, which is the group of people who made the films. And wow, most of those videos are awesome. I've never been so impressed with a web site since homestarrunner, and I don't really say that about everything. Those videos are so high quality and well done. They're all so funny. Then, as if it couldn't get any better, it did. The people behind channel 757 are also illusive media, which I guess makes videos, web sites, and print stuff for Famlay, Clipse, various people on Star Trak records, and other local rappers. That's really really awesome. Go check out those videos too. Also check out the graphic and web design sections.

Oh yeah, on the channel 757 site, under mini series, the fob video, Alex's sister Michelle is on that video. She's the one who says something about not being related to Bert. Man, that's not fair. Alex and Jay and I worked for years to have a popular web site, and then Michelle just gets to be in a video on a popular web site. She's already cooler and has more connections than us to cool online people. By cool online people I mean people who do cool stuff online, not people who are only online.

And where are all your cool videos Jay? You've gotta have some.
