Gamestop and EB are going to merge and be called Gamestop. Good, now I don't have to use the word "boutique" to describe anywhere I go. Plus it'll shorten the number of stores to go to when you're xmas shopping for me.

Exercise Bike for Video Games

This is a really weird exercise bike that is a Playstation 2 controller. They say you can use it to play some racing games, and your pedeling is the acceleration, and you turn the handle bars to steer.

I wonder if this would work out. Fundable is a system for a large group of people to each put some money in on a common goal. Then if the needed amount of money is reached the group will buy it and distribute the thing they bought. If they can't reach the goal then everyone gets their money back. The actual site explains it better probably, and with pictures. Fundable will launch on April 30, 2005. What kinds of things could people buy using this system?

Area 51 Discovered

This guy goofed around on Google Maps and "found" Area 51. He goes into great detail and provides screenshots. Here's the map where he started from, where you can see the dried up lake that he's talking about. If you try to zoom in too far Google will say it doesn't have the images and to zoom back out. Hmm...
