I'm back from DC. I went there over the weekend to go to Festa Italiana DC. It was pretty good. There were food and booths and stuff to look at and do. It was just a little bit too hot outside though. So anyway, I'm back home now.

Today I was Google Earthing it up. Google Earth is a big fat waste of time, but it's so much fun. I found this Google Earth Hacks site, which has a bunch of files that open up in Google Earth to show extra info. Some of them are cool places to see and some add extra functionality.

If you're bored with Google Maps by now, here's some good sites to check out to make it interesting again. Google Sightseeing is like traveling but without going anywhere. Wait that's not traveling. Anyway, they show you cool places on Google Maps. Like UFOs and the double missed bridge. Another cool Google Maps site is Google Maps Mania They link to mashups that involve new uses of Google Maps. Most of them show various info displayed on top of a Google Map. Some are really creative ideas.
