My Toothbrush broke

In other "automatic bathroom things that aren't working" news, my toothbrush broke. It wouldn't cut off so I had to wait for the battery to run out. Then it made some scary noises and now I don't really want to charge it again. It sounds like it's a somewhat common problem with certain Braun automatic toothbrushes. I'm mad because otherwise this toothbrush is great. But this is the second one I've been through, so I guess it's time for something different.
