I'm really behind on the Bloglines feeds. So I'm trying to clean up my feeds and unsubscribe from stuff I'm not going to read any more, and maybe rediscover some old feeds that I'd forgotten about. So I saw 43 Folders and it said "our feed has moved," so I figured I'd catch up on those posts and find the new feed to subscribe to. I had 86 unread posts. I started going through a few of the really old posts, and realized I really like this blog. Now I'm trying to go back through all the archives to read all the old stuff. Starting from the beginning, I'm now at the March 2005 archive. I skip over most of the Mac stuff though.
The Getting Things Done (GTD) posts are really good. I think I'll try to use some of those strategies for getting better organized. Although I do really like using MS OneNote. It's probably one of the best programs I've used in a while. And as if that wasn't enough, it's also from Microsoft. I've been trying to keep from locking myself into using MS stuff so that eventually I could switch to Linux or just leave my options open, but OneNote is one of those programs that keeps me on Windows. OneNote is probably the third most used program that I use, after Firefox and AIM.
Anyway, My dry erase board really helps with organization too. 43 folders suggests using index cards for the Hipster PDA, so I think I'll try that too. I got the index cards and binder clips. I also got Getting Things Done from the library, but I have a stack of books to read now, plus school stuff to read, so I don't know how far I'll get with that.
I really need to start reading books so I can write reviews for them and have decent content for this site. Plus I need to make you think I'm smarter than I really am. So I'm thinking a good way to do that would be to make you think I read a lot of educational books.
