I started playing Kingdom of Loathing again a few weeks ago. I finally defeated the Naughty Sorceress and ascended. It's like reincarnating except you get to keep your stuff. Now I'm a turtle tamer. I'm playing on the hardcore oxygenarian path, which means I can't interact with any other adventurer, and I can't eat or drink anything. It makes the game a lot harder, but I'll get rewarded better hopefully. I'm having some setbacks so far, but I'm pretty sure I can finish the game again on this path.
But then KOL had some problems and has been down for the past few days. They're supposed to be back up soon. It sounds like they lost a lot of important data. I wonder how much stuff I'll have when I can log back in. Oh well, at least I didn't lose my account because of inactivity like Alex and some other adventurers in my clan did.
