Or
I got Taiko with his money,
Not lie-po with his money.
I don't think I can get enough of watching this. Speaking of Kanye, Jared got me his new album for my birthday. It's really great. I don't know how to do proper reviews of stuff that end up being useful, so I'll just tell you to get it. There's a remix of Diamonds from Sierra Leonne on it and I was like Hov what are you doing here? Because he was on it.
Alex and Richelle got me Taiko Drum Master. It's a Playstation 2 game where you hit a drum to music. No not Donkey Konga. This is just one big drum, and two big sticks. So yeah that was great too. I played this game in an arcade back in 2k1 when I was in Japan. It finally came to America last year I think. But I guess since not too many people bought it, now it's down to $30 for the game and the drum together. That's a great deal. Especially since the drum by itself is $30 also. I'm hoping someone else will buy the game and bring his or her drum over here so we can play two player. There's some crazy mini-games in there too. Like watermelon eating and fireworks lighting and balancing. Actually, those are all the mini-games. Anyway, yeah it's crazy fun. Buy this too.
I copped the new A Roman Holiday CD. I think that's the right verb. It's pretty good. You should go buy it here. I'll wait for you to get back here when you're done there. Ok. Yeah I figured everyone in Richmond was in a band and had a CD to sell. But Jared said that only the first part is true. So I'm thinking it's a real accomplishment to go through all the trouble to get a real CD pressed and sold. That's what they did. They did the real recording and we're selling it online and I think they're selling it in a store and during concerts and everything. So it's not like you're just buying some cheaply made burned CD. Nope, it comes shrink wrapped for freshness. It even has a little booklet thing.
Another thing I got was a D-Link G810 wireless ethernet bridge. It's supposed to let my Playstation 2 connect to my wireless network, but as of this post it's not doing that. It's working for my computer though, so that's really strange. And I'm pretty sure I'm setting up my PS2 correctly, and I tried both with auto and manual settings. Anybody out in Internet land got any ideas for how I can fix this? I already sent D-Link tech support an message. I mean it does say it's supposed to work with the PS2. Also I have a D-Link 810+ which is an older version of the G810, and the 810+ works fine with my PS2. So I'll be mad if I have to send this G810 back. Well, I guess I'll be mad if I set something wrong too. But I'm hoping more that that's the case so it won't be too hard to make this thing work.
Oh yeah I fell for the old surprise party thing. It was pretty fun.
