For a while I've been meaning to post about how to use a feedreader and to get more people started on reading blogs, but now I've found the perfect way to explain that stuff for you. This comes from a horrible character (fake) blog made by (for?) Proctor & Gamble.

Hey girls, ever heard of an RSS Reader (aka a feedreader)? No? K, here's the dl...instead of scoping all your gazillion blog sites everyday for new posts, feedreaders do the work for you! Isn't that insane?! I know, I know, you're totally thinking "OMG what a total technogeekazoid," but it really is awesome. Bloglines.com has a good one. It sticks a little icon doohickey in your desktop system tray (right by the clock) and tells you when one of your fav blog sites has a new post!! It's free and a super-easy to download, so give it a try. Be sure to lemme know how u like it!!
That blog is good for a laugh for a few posts, but if you read too much you'll probably get stupider. That thing is so insulting to everyone. I just can't get over how obviously fake that blog is. Just about every post has product ads in it and it's written to make you think that it's just regular teenage girls talking about products that they use. But you'll see at the bottom is the P&G copyright. Nice try. I don't read a lot of teenage girl blogs, so I'm not sure if they really sound like that, but I think it doesn't sound authentic at all. Anyway, yeah that's how bloglines works. Maybe that wasn't a good way to tell you about it. It sure was a lot funnier than how i would have described it.
